For four nights (29 May - 1 June), several prize-winning Spanish films will be screened at the Cinemateca at Plaza de la Cultura, sponsored by the Embassy of Spain. The films, all of which have won the prestigious Goya awards in Spain, start on Tuesday, 29 May at 7:30pm. On Tuesday, the directors of the Goya Awards institute in Spain will be in Santo Domingo for commentaries after the film showing.

Tuesday, 29 May: Pa Negre, by director Agusti Villaronga, Goya Award in 2010.

Wednesday, 30 May: Camino, directed by Javier Fesser, Goya Award 2008.

Thursday, 31 May: Celda 211, directed by Daniel Monzon, Goya Award 2009

Friday, 1 June: La Soledad, directed by Jaime Rosales, Goya Award 2007.

Admission is either RD$50 or free.
