Police in San Francisco de Macoris have arrested a man who gave a five-year old boy a loaded gun and told him to "scare" a man who was supposed to arrive at the child's home. The little boy did as told and killed Arsenio Diaz Rodriguez, 53, as he approached the house. The man under arrest is Fabian Antonio Gonzalez Duarte (Polo) who turned himself in to the deputy prosecutor in Duarte province, Simeon Reyes who was working on the investigation into Diaz Rodriguez's death. As reported in the press, Diaz Rodriguez had returned to the DR after being deported from the US where he had spent 10 years in jail for drug trafficking. Listin Diario reported he was the owner of the La Guira Restaurant and other businesses in San Francisco de Macoris.
