On Wednesday 30 May President Leonel Fernandez created the transition team that will facilitate the takeover by the new authorities and their representatives who will start in their jobs on 16 August. Decree 273-12 creates the commission that is composed of the Ministers of the Presidency, Cesar Pina Toribio; Hacienda, Daniel Toribio; Administration, Luis Manuel Bonetti; Economy, Planning and Development, Temistocles Montas, and the Controller General of the Republic, Simon Lizardo Mezquita. The President instructed the Ministers of State and the directors of the centralized and autonomous dependencies to collaborate by appointing representatives to work in coordination with the transition team.
