And in another newspaper today, the GoldQuest Mining Corporation has announced the discovery of a major gold and copper deposit in the area around Hondo Valle in the province of Elias Pina. The news, as reported by Hoy newspaper, set off a flurry of buying and selling of shares on the company on the Toronto Stock Exchange. GoldQuest shares went up by 313% during the day and 20 million shares changed hands. The company said that the find was "incredible" but that they currently have more questions than answers.
