At a press conference yesterday, Thursday 31 May, lawyer and mediation specialist Nelson Espinal said that the primary aim for Hipolito Mejia and Miguel Vargas should be to preserve and strengthen the PRD as the main instrument for serving democracy, the economy, creation of jobs and national production.
He made his comments on the eve of a meeting planned for 4pm this afternoon, Friday 1 June, when the PRD political commission will meet for an in-depth analysis of the internal crisis affecting the party with the aim of settling the differences between the two sides and to preserve unity, as reported in Listin Diario.
