The Coalition for a Decent Education has won the Civic Commitment Award from Inter-American Dialogue and will receive the award on June 7 at the headquarters of the Organization of American States (OAS) in Washington.
El Dia reports that in the invitation to receive the award, Inter-American Dialogue said that they recognized the Coalition's firm commitment and dedication to promoting correct and appropriate government responsibility in the Dominican Republic and said that the award for civic commitment seeks to recognize outstanding achievement in the promotion of good public policy in Latin America and the Caribbean.
