Playa Dorada - should I go alone or bring an girl with me?

I got a great deal with Occidental - I can stay at any of their 5 AI properties on the north coast - I think 4 are in Playa Dorado, one is in Semana? I paid less than $90 for two people per night, but seems cheap enough to go by myself, and was thinking I could use the second "reservation" for chicas I meet there...

So my question is: should I bring a girl with me...the only difference is paying for her airfare, or go solo and hit the casino and club there at the Jack Tar...obviously, I could also venture off the resort, but then may not be able to get the chicas back to my hotel...

Any help/advice would be appreciated!!

You are correct, you won't be able to bring any chicas in.
$90 per night is steep. Condo rentals go for less than that as does Hotels in and around Sosua.

if you have a choice stay at Jack Tar, that is the only one I KNOW you can bring a chica back to cause the rooms are in private villas, and no dont bring a female with you if you plan on hooking up.

The only way you can bring your chica in as your second person is to find her before you arrive at the hotel! And then you won't be able to switch, you will both be branded.

As for bringing chicas in later you will have to pay per day $50-100 depending on the resort. They still probably won't be happy about you switching either.

As for the rate vs. a condo or hotel...I figured $90 for 2 with food and drinks in a decent safe place was a good deal. I know they usually charge about $100/day pp...

Any tips (websites, etc) on finding a local chica to bring with me? I could think of worse ways to spend a few days than with a cute, appreciative hottie :) I'm single, relatively young, in shape, and my face has never scared anyone, so a regular dating site for Latina girls looking for gringos would work...if there is one...

I guess if I'm looking to hook up with several different woman during my stay I should stay outside the Playa Dorado next time...

What about pulling chicas (pros or non) from the club back to the room...since we're already in the complex will that work?

There are many ISOC members around. You could hook up with them and maybe see a few discos and whorehouses with them. As for being safe, that part of DR is very safe. You will bump into them any place you go in the North. :D

There is a countdown room where guys post their dates of travel and sometimes their hotel location. Many of us have breakfast at Rockies in Sosua in the mornings also. Start with the countdown room.

Just don't be loud and sneaky, tell the gen. mgr. your plan and that no guest will think the chica is a puta; only a novio and novia. Also do not reck the room. Treat the hotel with respect and they will be happy to take your money.

The Paraidise Beach Resort had heavy security to make sure everyone had a band on. I did see some local chicas in there with a band, but I think they were one day girls who had someone pay the daily fee (not worh it). The only reason I took this AI deal was for the airfare, and I will do it again in a heartbeat. But lets face it. The places suck, you can not eat the food or drink the water, you can not have the freedom to bring in who you want when you want. When I did go in and out of the place they were not happy. They gave my driver a hard time and would not let him on property the last two days. Started to give me a hard time because of the hours I stagered in one night. If you are going to stay at these places head out and find other accomadations.

I did the 4 night 5 day last minute get away in May to The Caribbean Beach Resort. When i checked in i had a copy of a chicas cedula i got off the cedula check web site ( you need a chicas id #'s ). Told the front desk she was coming later. Went to Sosua and got a chica that was not even close to the copy. Had her practice writing the name and gave her a copy in case they ask to see she can say it was lost. Got to the gate and security would not let her in. After 10 minutes of standing on the hood yelling at these guys that she has no wrist band because she needs to check in finally someone who spoke english came by. I went to the front desk yelling that i just spent 4 hours on the road getting my novia and i told you she was coming. No problem. She signed the name correct and off we went to my room. When i dropped her off the next morning i carefully unsnapped the bracelet and put it on the next one. Each time i went back in we just rolled down the window enough to show the black band and sped off. They all knew me and the car and did not fuck with me the whole time. Ate breakfast and dinner with a chica every day.

Whoa, you ate the food????????? It must have been alot better than the stuff they called food at the PBR. The only thing I could even drink there was the beer. They kept watering down the drinks and serving "virgin" frozen drinks if you did not watch them.

Ommelets made fresh every morning. Fresh fruit, bacon and muffins and an OJ dispencer. For dinner i ate all 4 nights in the Mex or Italian Rest. I was supposed to eat in the buffet style rest. but 50 pesos a night to the host got me seated. Pitchers of Presidentes or Brugal and cokes was no problem with a tip and the right bartender. I stayed at Allegra Occidental on the Green last year and what you describe happened to me there with the food. The Caribean beach club will be a go again for a last minute vacation. Only problem is the need for a rental to get around. They only like for you to use their taxis. Also the place was 1/4 full at best. They were jumping thru hoops for a 30 peso tip. Playa Dorado is hit or miss i guess. After the 1st night i kept a low profile but i also think i was the only one staying at the place with a car.
