Aqua, a modern circus with acrobats, gymnasts and clowns using water to entertain, is booked to perform on the site of the former Herrera International Airport in Santo Domingo during the month of June, starting Thursday, 7 June. The circus includes an act by Janno Yan, holder of the Guinness record for the world's largest bubble.
The circus troupe members come from Russia, Spain, Belgium, England, Vietnam, Chile, the US and other countries. Shows are Tuesday to Friday at 8pm, and Saturdays and Sundays there will be two shows per evening, one at 5pm and another at 8pm. Tickets are RD$500-RD$1650 weekdays, and RD$600-RD$1,900 weekends.
