Today, Tuesday 5 June the Central Electoral Board (JCE) will present PLD candidates Danilo Medina and Margarita Cedeno with the certificates that accredit them as President and Vice-President of the Republic starting next 16 August. They will also deliver the certificates of the seven overseas deputies who were elected in the 20 May elections. The activity starts at 11am in the Las Carabelas Room of the V Centennial Hotel in Santo Domingo, and political delegates, officials, diplomats, judicial figures and others have been invited. On 28 May, the Plenary of the JCE declared Medina and Cedeno the winners as well as confirming the seven overseas deputies for the Dominican community overseas. The decisions were emitted in Resolutions 30 and 31.
