Ministry of Labor: Thursday is a holiday

The Ministry of Labor confirmed that Thursday, 7 June is a holiday, Corpus Christi Day. Because of its religious nature, the holiday will be celebrated on the same day. The next upcoming holiday, 16 August, Restoration Day, also falls on a Thursday, creating another long weekend for people taking Friday off. The following holiday, the Feast of Las Mercedes is celebrated on Monday, 24 September.
