Six French tourists still in hospital after bus crash

Six of the French tourists who were injured in a collision between a TUI tourist bus and a sugar cane transport train are still hospitalized at the Dr. Virgilio Cedano clinic in Higuey. Twenty-nine French tourists were traveling from Punta Cana International Airport to their resorts in Bayahibe when the train crashed into the rear of the bus on Thursday, 7 June. The deceased were named as Plankaert Manieet, Druggo Magiie and Mezzat Adelakim. The accident is suspected to have occurred due to driver negligence, as reported in Diario Libre.
