The 2012 FIVB World League resumes its volleyball action with Pool A competing at the Santo Domingo Volleyball Pavilion in the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center. The event is organized locally by the NORCECA Confederation, presided by Dominican Cristobal Marte and the Dominican Volleyball Federation.

Men teams from Russia, Cuba, Japan and Serbia will kick off the second leg of the competition of Pool A on Friday, 15 June. A total of six matches will be played over a period of three days. According to the set formula of the competition, two matches will be played on each day. Russia and Serbia will clash in the opening match of 2nd leg, while Cuba and Japan will cross their ways in the second match.

Friday's schedule features the clash between Russia and Serbia at 17:00 (EST) followed by the match of Japan versus Cuba at 19:30.
