The Weather Department, Onamet, says that rains will continue nationwide today, Monday 18 June, but forecasts sunny skies and hot temperatures from Tuesday with highs of 33-35C. The Weather Department says that the rains that have fallen over the weekend have been very good news for Santo Domingo's drinking water supply.
