The rains fell strong and long during the Saturday, 16 June, Juan Luis Guerra concert in Santo Domingo, but Dominican fans stayed put, preferring to wring out the water than to miss a note from one of Guerra's legendary songs, and his guest stars Juanes (singing La Calle) from Colombia and Anthony Romeo Santos (singing Frio Frio), formerly of Aventura. Estimated crowds of 50,000 endured three hours of pouring rain but very few did not see it to the end of the Juan Luis Guerra 'Asondeguerra' concert at the Olympic Stadium on Saturday.
