The Weather Office (Onamet) is forecasting no change in the high summer temperatures for the next few days. Easterly winds are adding several degrees to the already warm summer weather. Meteorologists are advising people to wear light clothing, drink plenty of liquids and avoid going out in the sun between 11am and 4pm. Because of a high-pressure system over the Atlantic, the sky will continue to be clear and bright. The sea breezes will bring some humidity and there is a chance of scattered showers in the southeast and southwest and in the Central Mountains, say the weather forecasters.
