Soprano Paola Gonzalez and tenor Emmanuel Vargas will perform on Saturday, 30 June at the auditorium of the National Music Conservatory. The married couple will sing Dominican songs like Por Amor, and other famous Latin American tunes such as Jurame, Granada, Te Quiero, and Dijiste. They will also perform opera arias. The concert is a fund-raiser for their studies. Emmanuel Vargas will study singing in Rome and Paola Gonzalez plans to study in Cincinatti. Tickets are RD$300, RD$500 and RD$1,000. They can be purchased at the National Conservatory or by calling 809 875-7540 and 829 816-6829. The National Music Conservatory is located at Av. Cesar Nicolas Penson in Santo Domingo.
