Double murder in Sabaneta de Yasica

At around midnight on Monday 25 June, persons unknown broke into a house in Pata de Gallina in Sabaneta de Yasica, Puerto Plata province, and a 69-year old man, Plinio Miguel Morales Martinez and his 14-year old son, Job Morales Nunez were shot to death. His wife, Ana Teresa Bierd was beaten and is currently in hospital. The police have so far made no arrests, as reported in El Caribe.
