According to the National Meteorological Office (Onamet), a new tropical wave will increase frequency of rain showers, thunder and lightning and winds over much of the country, especially in the north, northeast and along the Caribbean coastline. Until then, according to the forecasters, things will stay pretty much the same: hot.
El Caribe reports that there is a chance of brief showers in the northeast, southeast, Central Mountains and along the border. Onamet advises members of the public to drink lots of water and wear light colored clothing.
