The president of the Constitutional Tribunal, Milton Ray Guevara, is arguing for the creation of a culture of respect for the Constitution in the Dominican Republic, since in his judgment it is not enough to have the most positive and necessary institutions because what is important is "to live it, respect it, to know it and to love it."
The jurist, who was in Madrid for the launch of the book "Comments on the Constitution of the Dominican Republic" of which he is a co-author, stressed that the revisions made to the Constitution during the current administration of Leonel Fernandez have been one of the greatest works that he will leave as his legacy of his administration.
"It is important to live the Constitution, and in order to live the Constitution, you have to respect it, you have to know it and you have to love it too," said Ray Guevara in Madrid.
