The Caribbean Amateur Junior Championships are taking place from 1 to 6 July at Guavaberry Golf and Country Club in Juan Dolio, to the east of Santo Domingo. The competitors, boys and girls ages 11 to 17 will vie for the first place awards. Competitors have come from Bahamas, Barbados, Cayman Islands, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Trinidad & Tobago, Turks & Caicos and the US Virgin Islands to match Dominican golfers. The host hotel is the Barcelo Capella Beach Resort on the beach in Juan Dolio.
