Tomorrow's game against Macedonia, ranked 33rd in the world, is crucial for the Dominican Republic's Olympic basketball qualifying hopes. The game will be played on Friday, 6 July at 5:30pm. The winner will move on to the semifinals and a chance at one of the three berths for the Olympics, while the loser goes home. The DR, ranked 25th in the world, is 1-1 after losing yesterday to world ranked No. 11 Russia, 84-69. The DR played against giants Andrei Kirilenko, Vitaliy Fridzon, Viktor Kryapa and Alexander Kaun.

In the game, Al Horford of the Atlanta Hawks led with 22 points and nine rebounds. Team captain Jack Michael Martinez and Ronald Ramon added 13 points and 12 boards each.
