This weekend 150 colorful troupes, representing carnival celebrations from all over the nation, will gather at the Malecon, from its western point at Abraham Lincoln Avenue, to celebrate carnival. The carnival in Santo Domingo marks the end of the 2007 carnival season. Colorvision Channel 9 will televise the parade with Jochy Santos, Pamela Sued, Karina Larrauri and Milton Cordero providing the commentary.
