Saharan dust to affect visibility

The National Weather Office (Onamet) reports that visibility and air quality is being affected by dust from the Sahara Desert that has spread across the Atlantic. Onamet forecasts summer highs and scattered showers for Friday. A passing front will generate high waves and unfavorable conditions for small boats that are being advised to stay close to the coastline.
