SD miscellaneous questions

I’m just writing a quick dossier about SD where I expect to be quite soon, can anyone help me with the below newbie questions? I’m sure the answers may be somewhere but I can’t find them in my limited time.

1. Are private whorehouses open again? Do they advertise in newspapers (like in other countries)? If so, in which ones? (Spanish is no problem)

2. What’s the best time to hit Remington Palace and current going rates?

3. I suppose non-pros will be all over the city but are there any specific discos that are particularly good to pick up non-pros?

4. Are there different types of taxis in SD? If so, which ones are the best value (non rip-off)? Do they use meter or do you have to negotiate in advance?

5. Is there any real spa in SD? I don’t mean a place with hookers but a proper spa with heated pools, thermal baths, hydro-massage showers, etc (even if there are no hookers in there).

6. How much should I expect to pay for a (non-rip-off) taxi ride SD-BC and vice versa? Are they available all day and night?

SD is not my town but info is my forte, this is my knowledge.

They were always open, only some of them got shutdown, the name escapes me at this time but they closed down one place and let the other place NEXT DOOR stay open!

No clue.

Sorry I was way to drunk the one time I hung in SD at night, but I was at non-whore clubs.

There is a taxi union, the last time I checked it was RD$100 anywhere within SD. For gringos of course who knows. No meters I have ever seen.

As for a BC-SD that is a decent ride but not sure of the cost. While BC sleeps around midnight I am quite sure you could find a taxi in SD 24/7.

No its a small disco about a 5 minute taxi ride going away from the Intercontinantal.

I was in SD in Feb. and April. Many of the houses were closed down. One called Lapsus was open on AVe Independencia. The guy outside quoted me 2500. The place was slow so that price could have easily been nogotiated.
An easy place to find chicas is at the bar inside the Jaragua Casino. Prices on average 2000 pesos give or take. The girls are limited so it can be hit or miss. You can also just find girls sitting in the casino alone by slot machines. Just try to make eye contact and see if they smile at you. I f you know some spanish, go up to them and say hello. Denoche is the club located on the other side of area where the casino is( the parking lot is between the two). The two times I went there really late at night it was closed
I was quoted from a reliable guy I knew 800 pesos for a taxi from SD to BC.

I’ve got already a pretty good monger dossier, enough to keep me busy a few days…

You can be sure I’ll negotiate hard with these hookers, who do they think they are to charge those outrageous prices in SD? I’ve got a few master degrees in negotiation with hookers in 3 different languages (including Spanish) so I’ll try to do my best on the south coast too.

I’ll also check out the non-pros and will tell them that I’m a romantic guy looking for true love.

It's 2000+propina for ST and 4000+propina for TLN, but if you take a girl out after midnight she can stay with you all night for the ST price (2000). But even then if you ask for TLN they'll charge you 4000, so just ask for a 'salida' after midnight. After midnight is the best time for price, i was there at 1 am on a weekday and they had a very good selection at that time.

There are LOADS of chicks in this city, I love it!
