The Chamber of Deputies fast-tracked five loan contracts for US$290 million yesterday Thursday 12 July, as reported in Diario Libre. They include IDB funding of US$216,821,960 for a water sanitation program in Santiago and a further US$10 million for agricultural and rural development research.
They also signed SDR$9,250,000 with the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) for the agricultural sector and another for rural economic development in the east worth EUR11,430,000.00
An additional US$38,557,200 with BNP Paribas, US Eximbank operation was approved for financing the Coral Highway.
