The Ministry of Education said that 60% of the 96,399 students at the middle school level who took the Standardized National Examinations during June have passed all four examinations.
Spanish Language had a pass rate of 89.09%, Mathematics 73.47%, Social Sciences 88.69% and Natural Sciences 80.71%.
In the technical and professional group, which had 16,420 students 73.48% passed all the examinations, with Spanish Language at 96.58%, Mathematics 82.58%, Social Sciences at 94.50% and Natural Sciences at 87.38%.
According to Minerd, the results are similar to last year's and the next dates for the exams are August 7-10.
