IDB has US$300 million for Danilo

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) says that it has US$300 million (about RD$12 billion at current exchange rates) all ready to be disbursed as soon as Danilo Medina takes office. Manuel Labrado, the IDB representative in Santo Domingo said on Wednesday, 18 July that the international credit institution is only awaiting the verifications from the new administration. El Nuevo Diario comments that the funds will come as a great help for the new administration, because most government institutions have run through their 2012 budgets.
