A storm on the horizon lulled the wind and obliged judges to call off the OptiWorld Sailing Championships today, Thursday 19 July, the second day. The event is being held at the facilities of the Santo Domingo Yacht Club, where 300 sailors from all around the world are competing in the Optimist sailboats.
