The Caribbean Fashion Week opens today, Thursday 19 July at the Bellas Artes Art Gallery in the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Santo Domingo. At 7pm there is a resort and pre-fall fashion shows by Melina Almonte (DR) and Marvin Garcia (Honduras), followed at 8:30pm by Dianny Mota (DR) and Ariel Cedeno (RD-Spain)
At 10pm, Robert Flores (DR) and Ana Francesca (Panama) show their clothes.
Others who will take the runway are fashion by Hector Omar, Fernando Gantier and Eddie Guerrero (Puerto Rico), Venezuelan Nidal Nouahaied, and Devota & Lomba (Spain), as well as Marisol Henriquez, Maurizio Alberino, Marethe, and Miguel Genao from the Dominican Republic. Tickets to the shows are RD$500.
