Classes at the main Santo Domingo campus and in San Francisco de Macoris were suspended to chill out the protests and clean up damages protests to tuition and fee charges at the UASD became violent. The university announces classes resume on Wednesday, 25 July. Broken windows were repaired, and damaged vehicles removed from the main campus of the university. The violence escalated when university authorities decided to expel 11 students following the protests.
