The National Association of Distributors of Liquid Petroleum Gas ordered members not to sell fuel at any of the stations this morning due to the conflict with the National Institute of Consumer Protection (Pro Consumidor) on the filling of propane gas cylinders, as reported in El Dia.
They warned that the strike is for an indefinite time period and that they would not take fuel from the refinery. They explain that Pro Consumidor is using the wrong reference when demanding that commercially filled tanks be 90% propane and 10% butane per gallon. They argue the mixture should be 70% propane and 30% butane per gallon.
