In honor of the occasion, Michel Zaleski, Chairman and President of the DREAM Executive Board and Chairman of the Soros Economic Development Fund, Nathalie Munoz, Miss Dominican Republic U.S., and Senator Adriano Espaillat rang the opening bell today, 25 July 9:15am to 9:30am at the NASDAQ MarketSite in Times Square. The DREAM Project is an organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty through education. The organization was founded in Cabarete, Puerto Plata to upgrade education available to impoverished students in the beach destination. An innovative program offered summer camp opportunities for foreign students to come for an immersion into Dominican culture and share their skills. Campers experience individual growth experience while making a difference in others, too.
