The president of the British Chamber of Commerce in the Dominican Republic, Campos de Moya is confident that the commitment made by President-elect Danilo Medina to relaunch the Dominican economy by backing new growth of the tourism industry will become a reality. "I would add that the infrastructure, natural scenery, and experience of our operators give the country the opportunity to achieve the challenge launched by President Medina," he said, as reported in Hoy. He said that the commitment by Medina plus the new incentives under the Cinematography Law, and investments that tie the movie industry with the tourism industry bode well for creating jobs.
