The executive vice president of the Public Electricity Corporation (CDEEE) Celso Marranzini says that the mafia is trying to return to the electricity sector. He called on those who are on 24-hour power circuits to be alert. He said that international organizations demand that the power distribution companies collect more from consumers.
Manuel Labrado, representing the International Development Bank in the country said that he understood that the culture of not paying for electricity was one of the problems the sector has yet to overcome in order to move forward.
