Merengue band leader Johnny Ventura, with a long history of memorable hits, commemorates his 50 years as a musician, composer, singer, TV producer and politician with a musical this weekend. Playwright Antonio Melenciano has created a musical for the occasion of celebrating his 50 years in show business. It will be staged 27-29 July at the Palacio de Bellas Artes, with more than 30 artists on stage.
