Rain halts inaugurations

The recent rains have put a damper on President Leonel Fernandez's schedule of inaugurations, but yesterday, Tuesday 31 July he formally opened a bridge over the river Masipedro, in Los Arroces, Monsenor Nouel province that cost RD$247 million, cut the ribbon for a school and inaugurated the municipal library in Bonao. However, he was forced to suspend inaugurating several public works projects in the provinces of Hermanas Mirabal and La Vega due to the rain.
