Professor and researcher at the University of Bergamo in Italy, Marina Bianchi, will discuss the influence of the cities of Seville, Cordoba and Granada in the poetry of Federico Garcia Lorca. The presentation is by Architect Jose Enrique Delmonte, president of the Fundacion Palm, and introduction by Jose Oviedo, of the Centro de Estudios Europeos of the Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra.
Dominican poets Plinio Chahin, Basilio Belliard, Mateo Morrison, Soledad Alvarez and Alexis Gomez will also be taking part.
The event is scheduled for Thursday, 2 August at 5:30pm in Salon AO-4 at the PUCMM Santo Domingo Campus (Av. Abraham Lincoln at the intersection with Bolivar).
