The Dominican Republic's first gold medal winner (Athens Olympics 2004), Felix Sanchez qualified for the semi-finals of the 400 meters hurdles at the London Olympics in his heat with the fastest time of 49.24. In second qualifying place in the heat was the Briton, Jack Green with 49.49 and third was Mamadou Kasse Hanne with 49.63. The semi finals are tomorrow, Saturday at 2 pm Dominican time.
