The president of the National Union of Transporters and Allies (Unatrafin), Arsenio Quevedo, will visit the Ministry of Industry and Commerce to complain about the constant increases in the price of natural gas. He told Hoy reporter Anbareli Espinoza that the increase in the price of natural gas did not seem fair since this gas does not depend on fossil fuels, so there is no justification for the price increases. He noted that around 400 cars are using this fuel and at RD$31 per gallon the drivers were being affected. Last Friday the Ministry ordered an increase of RD$1.50 per gallon, which now costs RD$31.50.
