According to police spokesman General Maximo Baez Aybar, a Romanian, Codrut Alexandru Marta, has been arrested in Puerto Plata accused of criminal association in order to avoid paying taxes in his home country.
At the time of his arrest, carried out under an Interpol warrant, Marta had a false passport from Lithuania, in the name of Arei Argead.
