The District Attorney for La Romana confirmed yesterday, Wednesday 8 August that Dominican drug trafficker Ramon Antonio del Rosario Puente (a.k.a. Tono Lena) made a plea bargain with the Puerto Rican authorities, for a reduction of his sentence to just 10 years on drug trafficking charges and a four million-dollar fine. The capo also admitted that he belonged to Jose David Figueroa Agosto's network. Jose Polanco, the La Romana DA, told Listin Diario that before he was extradited, the capo had told local authorities that he had links to the Figueroa Agosto network, leading them to withdraw the charges here to allow for his extradition.
