A Russian, Boris Vorototnikov, 40, was hiding in Sosua and used the name of a Romanian, Codrut Alexandru Marta, and was captured on charges of an alleged bank fraud in his native country. When he was arrested he was trying to arrange a trip in the United States Consulate using a passport that had been reported stolen in the Interpol database.
