Reinaldo Pared Perez, secretary general of the ruling PLD, has announced that next Monday, 13 August, the party's Political Committee will recognize President Leonel Fernandez for his successes and achievements as head of State and president of the party.
Pared Perez said that the party's last five victories were achieved thanks to his skill, abilities and leadership capacity
He said that during a meeting of the Political Committee that was held after the elections, Franklin Almeyda proposed a resolution that would highlight the merits of Fernandez, not only as president of the party but also as President of the Republic. The resolution was unanimously approved.
