Yesterday, Thursday 9 August, the Santo Domingo Aqueducts and Sewers Corporation (CAASD) awarded its prizes for Journalistic and Business Excellence. The prizes, which are being awarded for the first time, honor dedicated social communications professionals and businesses.
The category for Vision and Support of Communication Media by a Business was won by Jose Luis Corripio Estrada, president of the Corripio Group, and was received by his son Manuel Corripio Alonso.
Other prizes were won by Miguel Franjul, director of Listin Diario, and Rosanna Rivera-Caminero, director of magazines and communications at Listin Diario.
At the ceremony, CAASD director Freddy Perez said that he was honored to be able to award the prizes and thanked the communication media for their interest in the theme of water.
Other awards went to the director of Diario Libre, Adriano Miguel Tejada, to the director of El Nacional, Radhames Gomez Pepin, to Julio Martinez Pozo from the program El Sol de la Manana, and Cesar Medina, producer and presenter Hoy Mismo on Color Vision.
