The Pueblo Viejo gold mine has poured its first gold bar and is gearing up for commercial production later this year. The project is a joint venture between Barrick Gold (60%), and Goldcorp (40%). Planned annual production is about one million ounces of gold at a cash cost of approximately US$350 per ounce.
