As part of the presidential inaugural ceremonies, the Senate and Chamber of Deputies swore in the holders of the new executive posts today, Thursday 16 August. The Senate chose Reinaldo Pared Perez to continue to head the upper chamber with Cristina Lizardo as vice president, and the secretaries are Amilcar Romero and Heinz Vieluf.
Abel Martinez was reelected as president of the executive office for the Chamber of Deputies. Others are Angela Pozo, vice president and Juan Julio Campos, secretary.
