The Department for the Prosecution of Administrative Corruption (formerly Depreco and now DPCA) has provisionally ordered the accusation of alleged acts of corruption against Senator Felix Bautista to be filed away with all judicial consequences. DPCA director Hotoniel Bonilla said in a note sent by a court bailiff (Number 1150-12) to former presidential candidate for the Dominican Revolutionary Party (PRD), Hipolito Mejia, and the other plaintiffs in the process, so that they cannot allege ignorance or a lack of knowledge in this case. The DPCD sentence 03093 was issued on 13 August and was notified to the parties yesterday. Bautista was accused last 23 March by the campaign team of the then PRD presidential candidate of alleged acts of corruption related to the execution of reconstruction projects in Haiti.
