The police have arrested five of the ten people who robbed Ambev Dominicana on Friday 17 August, getting away with over six million pesos, a pistol and a revolver.
Victor Alfonso Garcia and Bernardo David Melendez Cabrera, both Ambev employees, were detained along with Jose Alejandro Santana Brito, Manuel de Jesus Garcia and Edwin Richard Rojas, who were found in possession of RD$418,000, two cars, a television, an inverter with two batteries, two bulletproof vests, three weapons and 10 cell phones.
The police are still looking for Braulio German Garcia, Esteban Dotel Segura and another three, only known as El Breo, Ojo and Chachito.
