Just any little note about my first trip to Dominican Repubblic by
Nov. 15 to Dec. 04. I arrived in Santo Domingo and went directely to
Caribbean Tours bus station. The ride by Santo Domingo to Puerto
Plata is only 150 P, and the bus is very comfortable. One departure
every hour by 7 am to 7 pm, about 4 hours' ride.
In Puerto Plata I lodged in Puerto Plata Beach Ressort e Casino. Big
rooms with kitchen, enough rough but very cheap (15 $/day). The only
fault is the distance from the middle of town (about 2 km).
I used incomparable services of Dominican Billy, a very good fellow,
who knows all the chicas in Puerto Plata, mainly semiprofessional
lovely girls. I found a very pretty, young, sweet, ingenuous, hot
dark girl I remained with all my stay in Puerto Plata.
Life and girls in Puerto Plata are unimaginably cheap (1000 P all
night), out of trendy nigt-clubs. Although I remained with one only
girls, I knew quite a lot of girls, mainly my friends' chicas,
and
they were all likeable and pretty ones.
Only a remark about American fellows. They were all very, very
likeable guys, but no one spoke decent Spanish. If you speak a
little, or a little more of Spanish, you can find many more GFE
girls, in fact, the English-speaking girls I knew, were the most
hardened, and no doubt, not the best ones (as I am an Italian man, my
English is horrendous, as you can see, but Spanish language is much
better).
I'll go back doubtless soon, to see my novia, of course! DR is a
great country !
