At around 4am yesterday morning, Wednesday 5 September, urban rap singer Jonas Joaquin Ortiz Alberto, known as Black Jonas Point, crashed into a lamppost and wrote off his car on the Las Americas highway. He was taken to Dario Contreras hospital and subsequently to Plaza de la Salud where he is currently in intensive care.
According to witnesses, he had left the Euphoria discotheque on Venezuela Avenue, where he had been drinking, and was not wearing a seatbelt. His doctors informed that he has head injuries, a spinal fracture and a broken leg and is in a stable but serious condition.
Black Jonas Point is known for urban songs such as "Lo que quiera", "Yo tengo sed", "Me quite" and "Solo grita".
